battery icon did not change

    everything else went fine but the battery icon is being stubborn

      i went to power management and put the thing on always display icon but nothing changed. im using this applet called battery charge manager if that helps any.

      Kindly provide details of your distro, GNOME version, the size of the gnome panel (can be obtained by right clicking on the top bar and selecting properties.)

      Im using Gusty, whatever gnome is default with that, and my panel is 24 pixels.

      Oh then you are not using the correct applet. Jus remove it and goto System>Prefs>Power management and enable the battery indicator. The correct one will be shown :)

      The battery charge meter icon is not supported in Mac4Lin. You will have to use the Power Management icon to get the Mac-like icon.
