64 bit pidgin plugin

    the pidgin plugin does not appear to work with those compiled on a 64bit compiler

      Oh.. thanks for pointing that out. I'm not sure about it since I don't use a 64-bit install. I'm pretty sure you can find the source code for the plugins at www.pidgin.im. Meanwhile I'll see if I find any compiled plugins compatible with 64-bit systems.

        where can i find the source code for your plugin?
        I'm a decent programmer, and would be willing to get it to look at it for you.

          I'm guessing this is the correct place to find the pidgin AWN plugin: http://code.google.com/p/awn-plugins/ I hope you were talking about the pidgin plugin.

            it works just have to uninstall it from where it was installed by the uninstaller

            rm ~/.purple/plugins/pidgin_awn.so

            and then paste the new one in the right location

      Oh, what was the mistake? Can you point to the new location so that I can update that in the script (if its universal i.e applies to both 32 and 64-bit ones).
