I'm a new linux user switching from Windwos XP. How can uninstall/reversing the GTK patches.

    Saludos.

Problem solved. Only reinstall GTK lib and work fine. There is a trick too in the new "Global menu" patch official page. I like very much the theme but the real mac hack are the global menus.

No patches are installed thru Mac4Lin so there is no question of reversing. Unlike Windows everything can be changed/reverted at the click of a button. To remove the mac4lin pack just goto system > prefs > appearance and Select the Human theme to revert back to ubuntu default. Thats it :) No uninstalling anything! mac4lin is 100% safe...

Yes there are optional patches to GTK libraries to make Gnome menu like OS X menu behavior.

They are not bundled with Mac4Lin and I'd suggest a new user not to install it unless you are comfortable with these patches. Mac4Lin works great without that patch too.
