#2 Couldn't open Sound Converter

When I click on Start, I get (after about a 60 second
delay) a dialog box that says

mAC3dec encountered the following error:

Could not open Sound Convert

Err# -50

and there's a Dammit! button.

This is mAC3dec version 1.6.3 under Mac OS X.1.5. I had
a similar problem with 1.5.2, except the error message
was "Could not open QT sound converter".
