I had a feeling it might have been a bug. With using the precompiled MOL, I am running into another issue. At first I was able (still am) to boot to OS9 from the CD. The first time or two it had a hard time recognizing any hard drive devices so I stuck in a 40gb slave maxtor drive and did an unformatted partition as /dev/hdb2. So I went into my config file, put /dev/hdb2 in, and viola, booting into OS9 gave me a message that the hard drive had not been initialized. It saw it, initialized it, and installed OS 9.1. I then decided to toy around with OS 9.0.4 but this time even though the CD booted, it would not recognize any hard drive devices in OS9. I had not made any changes to the config file at this point. When that was giving me issues I tried to boot from the OS 9.1 cd again and this time didn't recognize the hard drive either with the disk utility program. Is there something I'm doing wrong? ----- Original Message ---- From: Nathan Smith <nda...@gm...> To: mac...@li... Yet still won't do it on 0.9.72. Is this a bug?? > It does look like a bug. However, I know some people are able to boot OS 9 with the latest version. Unfortunately MOL's developer Joe (JoseJX) is away for a while, so we may have to wait until he gets back to track this down. -- Nathan Smith nda...@gm... ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take control of your XML.
