Hi, I'm trying to get a CD burner to work with MoL 0.9.72/MacOSX on my AmigaOne (kernel 2.6.16.49) with Debian Etch. The drive is recognized by MoL and MacOSX, if I use the ide-scsi emulation (which is considered to be deprecated), but MacOSX does not detect it as a CD burner. I don't have much experience with MacOSX, thus I would be grateful for a hint. Also there is a slight problem, if I try to boot from the MacOSX install DVD (startmol -X --cdboot). As long as there is no disc in the CD burner (with ide-scsi emulation), MoL/BootX stops booting. Probably because the CD burner shows up as the first device in the list of SCSI devices. List of SCSI devices: 1. SCSI device: 0,0,0 (CD burner - /dev/hdd with ide-scsi emulation, AFAIK becomes /dev/srcd0) 2. /dev/cdrom (normal DVD drive - /dev/hdc handled by ide-cd driver) The CD boot device is defined like this in molrc.osx: blkdev: /dev/cdrom -cd ${cdboot} Any ideas? Thanks! regards, Gerhard BTW: Please but me on CC:! -- GMX FreeMail: 1 GB Postfach, 5 E-Mail-Adressen, 10 Free SMS. Alle Infos und kostenlose Anmeldung: http://www.gmx.net/de/go/freemail |
