What version of MacOS are you trying to run?

This is defined in the ncurses development library.  Are you sure 
you have this installed?

In the main source tree, there's a folder called "Doc".  In that 
there's a document called Boot-ROM which explains how this works. 
However, if you're trying to boot System 8.6 or newer, you do not 
need the Boot-ROM.
