Greetings. I'm trying to get Mac-on-Linux to work on my son's Wallstreet II, G3/266/1M, 320MB RAM. OS is openSUSE v10.0, kernel v2.6.13-15.13-default. I've tried to use the Mac-on-Linux included in the distro, but it won't start MacOS. It's v0.9.70. It tells me that it could not open rom-image 'rom/rom.8500. I've tried installing the SVN with no luck. It fails at: checklist.c:291: error: ?KEY_RIGHT? undeclared (first use in this function) make[2]: *** [../../obj-ppc/build/config/lxdialog/checklist.o] Error 1 make[1]: *** [sub-lxdialog-all] Error 2 make *** [do-bootstrap] Error 2 Trying to install the v0.9.72_pre2 archive from sourceforge fails at the same point as well. Evidently I need a utility to copy my system's rom. However, I can't find any reference to how to do it. Also, I seem to remember from trying to run MoL before that the Beige G3 wouldn't work. The Wallstreet is basically the same machine, so is this going to also be a problem? Thanx ________________________________________________________________________ Check Out the new free AIM(R) Mail -- 2 GB of storage and industry-leading spam and email virus protection. |
