Do you have the sheep module loaded? If not, please try commenting out the following lines in /etc/mol/molrc.net:

I'm having the same problem. I'm using mol 0.9.72.1 on a current install of Ubuntu PPC (more details if necessary). I built mol from the source archive this morning, and cannot get it to boot off my OS 9 install disk.

I commented out the lines you suggested to no avail. It just hangs, with the "pengin apple" logo on fb 9.
