[Mac-emacs-users] Installing emacs 21.1 on OSX

Hello,

I am trying to install Emacs 21.1 on MacOSX (10.1.1). When I execute the 
./configure command from the terminal (as per instructions in the 
readme.txt file at http://mac-emacs.sourceforge.net/ ) I get the 
following error message:

checking whether the C compiler (cc  ) works... no
configure: error: installation or configuration problem: C compiler 
cannot create executables.


I understand I need a C compiler on my computer.  Is it included the 
developer tools CD? Or do I need to get it from someplace else?
