#3 name lookup should support a list of names to lookup

instead of

$fieldListFunction = $global{dbType} . "::" . customLoad
('default.fieldList.function',"deriveFieldList") ;

Try

& { $global{dbType} . "::" . customLoad
(@names, "deriveFieldList");

Also this is better:

&{ $fieldListFunction } ($arg1, $arg2);
