Technical Specification

Preliminary M4DSP project technical specification for the first development stage
(items in bold - are main priority tasks):

• STM32F4xx Cortex-M4 MCU as a single DSP core for signals and GUI;
• Internal 12-bit ADC/DAC for audio frequency sampling;
• Oversampling up to x256 factor for increase in ADC/DAC resolution;
• Internal geterodyne based on SQDDS algorithm;
• One-band DSB DC (direct conversion) receiver front-end based on analog MUX & low-noise OpAmp;
• CW/SSB software filters;
• Simple GUI with 320x480 color TFT and touchscreen.
