I don't understand how to launch this program from Windows. I launched LyricsCatcher.bat but nothing happens.

    You should indeed run LyricsCatcher.bat from windows and it should work.
    If this doesn't work, or you're not on windows, run LC.jar directly. Note that VLC-videos won't work, JMF might. Also make sure you have the latest version of Java installed.
