LyraBrightness is a small, fully portable utility for controlling screen brightness on Windows.

It runs from the system tray and supports:

- Hardware brightness control via DDC/CI (real monitor brightness)
- Automatic fallback to Software dimming (visual overlay) when hardware control is unavailable
- Safe minimum brightness limit to prevent full black screen
- No installation required

Important:
Not all monitors support DDC/CI (especially older models or DVI connections).
In such cases, the program switches to Software dimming, which does NOT change physical brightness.

The active mode is clearly shown in the UI.
