Introduction

What is LynxSight

LynxSight is mobile application which tries to help visually impaired people to
overcome their daily hardships. It provides an offline OCR (optical character
recognition) services with reading recognized text. Application was designed with effort
to be easily navigable and usable for visually impaired people. LynxSight uses voice
assistance, voice commands and simple user interface (UI).

Who should use this application

Application is aimed for people that are partially visualy impaired. People that can
find textual information but have difficulties to read it would, as we hope, profit from
this application.

What do I need to use it

LynxSight targets mobile devices (phones, tablets) that use Android OS and have
a camera. Application requires Android OS vs. 2.1 or newer.
Also every user need to have preinstalled eSpeak text-to-speech engine on his
device. ESpeak is availiable free on Google Play.
