MOV File loads only first frame of movie

Opening an MOV file created by a Canon 60D in Lynkeos seems to load just the first (0th) frame of the movie in the list window using the latest version of Lynkeos and OS X Mavericks. The same movie will open in Lynkeos 2.5 will no problem. I also was able to convert the movie to a MP4 and it worked in Lynkeos 2.9, but due to the conversion, the quality was degraded. There was a fix/patch posted for bug 68 which might address this issue, but the program in the attached zip file still did not open the movie other than the first frame.

Fortunately for you, I own an EOS60Da, which I had not yet used for planetary movie recording.
I see the same problem opening a movie from this camera.
I do not have any hint on the cause yet, but I will investigate.
Any update on this problem? I also have an EOS60Da and am unable to open MOV files in Lynkeos 2.9 in Mavericks, while it worked in previous versions.
In Mavericks (OSX 10.9.4), I found the same problem with Lynkeos v2.9. I tried installing v2.7, which used to work fine in OSX 10.5, and found that it doesn't work either. So updating to Mavericks has killed Lynkeos for me!
Reproducable with a Canon EOS 550 :(
Same problem with a Canon SX 50 HS...
The FFMPEG reader is able to open the MOV files from my Canon EOS 60Da.
To fool Lynkeos, and make it use this reader, I renamed the ".mov" file into ".avi".
You can use this workaround until the next release.
Fixed at rev 578
Closed at V3.0 release.
