I've been using lxpsplit for awhile now and it works great :) So I packaged lxsplit-0.2.4 in the debian package format and was wondering if you wanted to use it. It's not official or anything, still trying to find a sponsor, but it will install easily in Debian or Ubuntu.
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
I've used the debian-multimedia packages in my PPA if anyone is interested.
They required slight modifications for versions ubuntu 8.04 hardy heron and earlier (debhelper and compat file versions to be lowered to 6), but I believe that they still work.

Thanks.
I remember Debian used to be having lxsplit in one of their pools,
googling,
http://www.google.com/search?hl=tr&q=lxsplit+deb&meta=
results:
http://debian-multimedia.org/pool/main/l/lxsplit/
http://sk.archive.ubuntu.com/debian-multimedia/pool/main/l/lxsplit/
with lxsplit-0.24 debs. Is your packgage one of these?
In any case, I can host a deb (marked as unofficial) if you send
it to me.
