I have installed lxp-binary-deb version 0.2-1 on Ubuntu 8.04 using gdebi-gtk v0.3.8. It looks like the install completed without error. I was never asked permission to install dependencies (I assume this is normal behavior for this installer). It looks as if all files have been installed.
I rebooted, and hit F10. I saw choices for Gnome, and terminal, but not for LookXP or anything similar.
Do I have to somehow activate something to get a choice to use LookXP for a new session?
I am a newbie, so kindly be explicit with any instructions. I can barely open a terminal session :-)
Many thanks!
Ed
