you are already part of the LXDE community. We don't have an official
membership or a joining ceremony. I see you have added yourself in the
wiki and did some edits, you are participating on the mailing lists, so
you are part of our community. :)

You are the first Bosnian Translator and before you can start
translating, someone needs to add Bosnian as a new language in pootle. I
just did that, however I need some more info from you:
* What locale code is Bosnian using? is it 'bs' or 'bs_BA'? And is
bs different from bs_BA? What does the command 'locale' on your
* Do you have any special characters? If so, give me a list
* How many plural froms do you have?
* When to use what plural form, e.g. for how many people?

When translating, one thing you need to take care of is consistency. You
should aways try to translate stings in their context, this means you
need to look at the application and not only at the translation because
a word can have different meanings in different context. Always make
sure to consistently use one translation, at least in the same context.
And we are trying to be consistent with other desktops and programs. The
German translation team for example follows the GNOME translation
guidelines. So if there are Bosnian translations for GNOME, their
vocabulary and guidelines are a good starting point for you.
If you want to look up how others translate a word, you should take a
look at http://open-tran.eu/
Hope this helps,
