Welcome! Please start with fixing bugs listed here: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?limit=25&func=&group_id=156956&atid=801864&assignee=&status=&category=&artgroup=&keyword=&submitter=&artifact_id=&assignee=&status=1&category=&artgroup=&submitter=&keyword=&artifact_id=&submit=Filter http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?limit=25&func=&group_id=180858&atid=894869&assignee=&status=&category=&artgroup=&keyword=&submitter=&artifact_id=&assignee=&status=1&category=&artgroup=&submitter=&keyword=&artifact_id=&submit=Filter Then you can post your patches in the "patches" tracker. We'll review them and get them applied if there are no problems. If you don't know gtk+ programming at all, then you can help fix compiler warnings. For example, the file manager which is still under development has many compiler warnings. You can help fix them. This should require only knowledge of C/C++ and gtk+ is not needed. Thanks!
