Hi, in my opinion it's not a question about what people do or don't the most. Even though I don't know, why exactly this was changed, I like to have another default for the logout. This is, because the consequences of an accidentally shut down computer (by just hitting the spacebar) can be very much bigger, then if the user logs out by accident. I think especially about server environments.
