Hello there, I am proficient in Malay and have some knowledge in Chinese and would like to help out with the translation efforts. Will someone be kind enough to guide me to get started? Thank you. Best regards, Hanxue |

Please help =) http://pootle.lxde.bsnet.se/ms/lxde/ I would suggest that you start with pcmanfm and continue with libfm after that. Those two components are in string freeze and we will release them early September. No other components are scheduled for releases yet so you can work on those as you find them interesting. For zh_CN and zh_TW both translations are more or less up to date and maintained well already. Please register at http://pootle.lxde.bsnet.se and send me your username and I will add you as administrator for ms. If you are not familiar with Pootle and would like to try to use the online translator you should read the guide at the wiki: http://wiki.lxde.org/en/LXDE:Pootle_crash_course Even if you just want to use Pootle for uploading the contributions and use an offline tool I want to remind you that you must click the "commit to VCS" link at the review tab for the file you upload/translates. This ensures that the file is sent to the central repository and you will not be listed at the wall of shame[1]. See this example screenshot: http://salyut.bsnet.se/~brother/bilder/ss-101021-vcs_click.png Welcome! (I just neeed your pootle username to hook you up =)) [1] http://l10n.bsnet.se/~brother/l10n_status.txt updated once every hour and lists everyone that has forgot to commit their work to the central repository. - -- brother http://sis.bthstudent.se -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.12 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iQEcBAEBCAAGBQJQRHI9AAoJEJbdSEaj0jV74jEH/0bxaqCixT4uzc/ABNdSDli0 2MFqew1vksK0uj/lObp13RY0SM4HW6pILhmgkiRJu0W+aTm+zF+xOTRe9j3V+5qo P2yxcAqEOwR7vVzzFp2iOCmFV/X5yUiQGVRONdIaY/YqyBM0nr99XMB96ZCIXqyH XY/bL44TmeVlH1ETfNFsYtuZOSlkc8gP5UAD/qsgTqeQ0/NG/NLfT7qc93ocAkHI 8/oxuhTuzOzdC43tzou64pDQdR422Qc/TAUDCbvwF0+FI0CNdKdSuGXi4phlAf3l ICXfbJlKogAOk9eYxO6u8M/P9i8SNwHgEv10uRExqYAxxUi77Tc5IS/JjZ9Uc5s= =G6/5 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- |
