I understood a bit better what's happening, after running:

giuspen@lu1304:~$ lxpanel --profile Lubuntu
lxpanel: can't load volumealsa plugin
lxpanel: can't load indicator plugin

I understood

1) volumealsa plugin was not built because missing alsa headers, so I installed:

sudo apt-get install libasound2-dev

Then this problem was ok, but wouldn't be better to change configure.ac to ask for it?
