FYI: simpleLinux - http://www.simplelinux.tk/ - is a Slackware-based distro. I suggested LXDE to the developer of simpleLinux, and just learnt that it's been implemented.

So, I added this to the wiki: http://wiki.lxde.org/en/SimpleLinux

simpleLinux is a Malaysian Slackware-based distro. The developer reports that LXDE is working well, as is running just with Openbox.

To boot with LXDE, download the EXT version and edit (the boot file?):

APPEND initrd=/boot/initrd.gz ramdisk_size=6666 root=/dev/ram0 rw autoexec=lxde;telinit~4 changes=/slax/
