"Display and control volume for ALSA" applet does not increase or decrease (or mute) sound volume when I press laptop's special volume buttons. In GNOME, it does.
Please consider adding default hot-keys for volume control.

Thanks for Your hard work.

Thank you for your feedback. This is working in the as yet unreleased development code.

    0x7A
    keycode 123 (keysym 0x1008ff13, XF86AudioRaiseVolume):

Thanks, but I know what the keycodes are. I said I already had it working.
This was done before your report here, because it was brought up on the mailing list.

Has the fix been released? My laptop volume control keys don't work on two systems:

Lenovo T400 running Debian testing, lxpanel 0.5.8-2
Dell Vostro 1400 running Ubuntu 12.04, lxpanel 0.5.8+git20120212-0ubuntu3

    Thanks!

Apologies, for the following system my previous comment was mostly wrong

Dell Vostro 1400 running Ubuntu 12.04, lxpanel 0.5.8+git20120212-0ubuntu3

The laptop's volume controls do work. There is no visual feedback however.
