I am unable to change the default keyboard settings. When set using the GUI, it does not work at all. When I change the setting directly in the config files, then it works - but only for a while. After few minutes, my settings seem to be forgotten and are changed back to default settings. Also lxsession --reload does not seem to do its work, or I am misinterpreting what it is supposed to do: I thought it would make the program to reload settings, but instead this results in two simultaneous lxsessions. If I do this, my changes are reflected, but again, only for a while.
I don't know how to find out the version of the software, there is no lxsession --version option. It is a brand new opensuse installation which includes the following packages:
patterns-openSUSE-lxde-13.1-13.6.1.x86_64
lxde-common-0.5.5-40.1.3.noarch
lxde-common-branding-openSUSE-12.1-29.1.2.noarch
patterns-openSUSE-lxde_office-13.1-13.6.1.x86_64
patterns-openSUSE-lxde_laptop-13.1-13.6.1.x86_64
Here are the config files:
.config/lxsession/LXDE/desktop.conf
/etc/xdg/lxsession/LXDE/desktop.conf
[Keyboard]
Delay=200
Interval=15
I'd be grateful for any suggestions or help you could give.
Best wishes,
Petr
