I'm using Ubuntu 13.10 dev with LXDM 0.4.1. After I have logged in with my user I'm able to create a new X instance to change the user without logout the old one. If I'm trying to log in with the old user in the new X instance LXDM forwards to the old X instance and closes the new X instance. The problem is that this action also causes to unmount the home folder if it is encrypted with ecryptfs.

    first session
    1 pam create session
    2 pam auth user
    3 ......

    second session
    1 pam open session
    2 pam auth user
    3 pam close session

as lxdm have to auth the user password, so the steps can't be skiped.
and every ecryptfs things are done in pam provide by ecryptfs, likely the pam unmount the fs when close pam session.

    I don't think it's bug of lxdm.

likeyly lxdm unnecessaryly call pam_close_session, this will be fixed in git.
