I have been unable to get LXPanel to correctly show new xdg menu entries.

Specifically: I have added a new .menu entry, with it's corresponding .desktop file, and used xdg-desktop-menu to register the change.

The xdg system recognizes the new entry (it shows up in Openbox, for example), but it does NOT show up in the xdg menu system that LXPanel uses.

What do I need to do to add a new menu entry to the LXPanel's main menu? (I already know how to edit the .lxpanel/default file, and I've added an additional menu to the panel itself; I'm wanting to add a new submenu to the existing menu structure shown in the main menu button.)

It seems the problem is, that LXPanel doesn't create start menu from .directory files in /usr/share/desktop-directories/
There are submenu definitions and translations of submenus.
Please, fix this bug in new LXPanel version.
