About every third or fourth start up the monitor size adjusts to maximum, causing the monitor to jitter and reset every minute or two. It automatically switches to 1280 x 1024 / 60 hz when it works best at 1152 x 864 / 75hz. I'm a newbie to Linux (about 4 months or so) so I have no clue how to lock it and my wife has zero idea how to adjust it when it happens to her.

I believe this issue is completely fixed in latest release of LXRandR - 0.2.0. Check it, please, and leave a comment to reopen this issue if it isn't fixed. Thank you very much.
