To compile in windows you must have a commercial version of QT for windows. Troll Tech does have a "free" windows version, but it is only for QT 2.3 and to run LX-Viewer you need at least QT3.0.5
Assuming you have this version of QT, then you would need the OpenDWG libraries for the windows compiler you are using. There are many to choose from, but they seem to be well labeled. The easiest way after this would be to use the Qt's qmake utility. There is a .PRO file in the windows directory of the CVS.
I have never built the program on Windows, but Paul (see developer page) has and he may be able to help you some more.

Actually Trolltech changed the license for the windows version recently and there's now a free version for windows
I think Paul told me that there are also specifc statements that tell it which compiler you will be using (eg Borland etc) and these need to be modified before compiling.
I'll try and find out more and post it up here

hmm about the qt. ftp://ftp.trolltech.com/qt/source/ - in here there is no version 3.0.5 for win - which version should i use to compile Lx in windows ? version 4.2.1 did no good even after using qt3to4 tool on Lx source.

Anyone has experience to compile the source in Windows? Any doc or procedures are appreciated.
