The DWG read-write is certainly suitable for professional use, and is possibly the best implementation I have seen.
However, there are some adjustments that could be made to improve the usefulness of the program. Allow me to be direct:
The files I have opened, do not appear to contain any paper views in LX-Viewer. There should be an option to generate a paper view from the model data. This is very important, as without a paper page the extents of the file are treated as the extents of the model, which is no good for scaling. DWG files of course contain scale information. It would be fantastic if LX-Viewer could centre the model data on a determined A-type paper size.
The SVG support seems to have potential but the quality varies too much. If I zoom in on some vector text and export to svg then the quality is good, but if I am zoomed out and export, then zoom in to view the result, the quality is poor. This defeats the point of using a vector format. It is possible that this is related to the default line-weight used, which should correspond to that in the DWG. Regardless, it should not be effected to the zoom level.
Postscript support would be a massive bonus. This seems to be possible by 'print to file' but the quality is very poor on the tests I have done.
Changing the layer colours does not appear to have any actual effect.
