It would be really nice if the syntax could be decided. That is after all, the most important feature of the language.
Then there could be something to work from at least, maybe write some demos or tools, etc.
If my input means anything, here are a couple of my preferences for the language implementation:
1. I would prefer the language used directives rather than archaic symbols or symbol combinations (with the exception of curly braces).
2. Apart from the machine instructions, every directive (if any will be used) should be in their own namespace, preferably the dot namespace ".<directive>"
3. Blocks: Either use curly braces { } or .begin .end directives.
There is more of course, but baby steps...
