Aha! I see now why this is happening. Somehow or another 0.1c is able to corrupt it's record of cached html/xml pages. This can result in a SIGBUS (10) which is what you are seeing. Work-arounds: cd wwwdir-for-lurker rm */*.html rm */*.xml cd dbdir-for-lurker rm expiry.* restart lurker This should make it startup again.
