Lume is a free, open-source app launcher for Windows 11, driven from the keyboard. Press Alt+Space (or the hotkey you choose), type a few letters and press Enter.
One box does four jobs: it launches apps, with prefix, acronym and subsequence matching; it works out sums; it runs web searches; and it runs shell commands. Lume remembers which result you picked for each query, so the shorthand you type is yours from then on.
Themes are plain .css files. Four are built in, and a theme applies the moment you save the file, with the launcher open.
Lume comes as an installer or as a portable file. It has no account, no ads and no telemetry, and it is MIT licensed, with the source on GitHub.
