First of all I'm glad to see that Luma development has resumed! I used
to use it a couple of years ago and then once distros begun switching to
Qt4 I had all sorts of troubles making Luma 2 work on my workstation.
Now it's all seamless (nearly ;) again. Thanks!
The "nearly" above is for a little issue in setup.py where the templates
from luma/plugins/browser/templates are not installed into
I have copied them manually and it's all working for me but since the
error message is not displayed unless logging window is open (which it
is not by default), users may wonder why they don't see any output when
clicking on the objects in the browser tree. Less experienced users may
tend to give up upon such a "silent failure".
I suggest to either pop out a message box saying the templates were not
found (as it's quite a serious problem rendering Luma unusable), or
actually install them in setup.py. Or both ;-)
Cheers and keep up the good work!
