What about a FS that shows you a view on a version-database
The behaviour of this mounted view:
- only show version(s) that you requested.
- files that are used will be cached local.
- new files will be stored local.
- local files have precedence on archive files.
- files can be checked out or locked with tool.
- checking in files can also be done with tool.
