modprobe lufs: bunch of unresolved symbols

    I get lufs 0.9.5 compiled and all on mandrake 9.0 running 2.4.19 kernel, but during 'make install' it quits because it can't insmod lufs due to a bunch of unresolved symbols.  any help appreciated!

      it's the modversions screwup. your kernel sources don't have the original versionized symbols include.

      you should patch the kernel and rebuild it with lufs support. that should work.
