  • Anonymous - 2003-07-08

When I to a file mounted on an lufs mount with sshfs the last 25 lines or so are duplicated at the end of the file.

Im using: lufs 0.9.6 built from source on Slackware linux 9.0

I have seen this problem reported elswhere on the help forum but havn't seen an awnser.

      Hello Ian,

Please tell me how you compiled lufs on Slackware 9, because I didn't succeed. What kernel sources did you use? My compilation worked ok, but when the kernel module was modprobe'd I got an error about undefined symbols.

        I just did a

        make install

        of lufs 0.9.6

I'm using the 2.4.20 linux kernal source

Do you compile your own kernal or are you using a default one? Im not sure at all what the cause of your problem is but it sounds like your kernal header files don't match your kernal binary. I would suggest recompiling your kernal with the configuration that you are compiling lufs against and see if that helps anything.

As far as the latest build of lufs not working with slackware 9 I have not had a problem other than It keeps reappending the end of text files.

Sorry If that wasn't very helpful
