    Hello everyone.

I'm having trouble making lufs work under Slackware 9. ./configure and make work OK. But at the end of make install, where it modprobes the lufs module, it says:
    /lib/modules/2.4.20/kernel/fs/lufs/lufs.o: unresolved symbol __write_lock_failed
    /lib/modules/2.4.20/kernel/fs/lufs/lufs.o: unresolved symbol kernel_flag_cacheline
    /lib/modules/2.4.20/kernel/fs/lufs/lufs.o: unresolved symbol __read_lock_failed
    /lib/modules/2.4.20/kernel/fs/lufs/lufs.o: insmod /lib/modules/2.4.20/kernel/fs/lufs/lufs.o failed
    /lib/modules/2.4.20/kernel/fs/lufs/lufs.o: insmod lufs failed

    Please help.

Unresolved symbols are usually a result of a bad kernel compile. Try recompiling your kernel and don't forget to do "make mrproper" to remove module dependancies. Then recompile lufs and it should work. Remember to use the CVS version of lufs coz the latest has a bug and doesn't work on Slackware 9
