I'm using sshfs.
It seems to not maintaint the single connection over the time filesystem is mounted.
Is it so or I see just a bug?
My log on the server shows one connect for every IO request.
for optimization reasons, lufs/sshfs is opening several connections. so the first few IO requests should each open a new connection. but subsequent request should not reconnect but use the already opened channels.
please check whether this is true, if it's not, then probably it is a bug...
It seems to me that using sshfs it's nessesary to stat the files more then once. Any Ideas?
mount you filesystem wih -ochannels=1
