It's been a while since I last released something, so here's a trunk preview from the latest trunk snapshot (svn revision 489). This release sports a new server-side configuration system, new PHP5 classes for use, Atom feeds for each message board (along with the first post in its summary/content), and other internal changes. Please do not install this over an older build, but you may use your current database with it; however, there may be some random backslashes appearing if you do so.

The first release candidate for the speedy forum/etc. software known as LX has been officially released. Many updates since 0.9.10, also a bit cleaner and easier to use than the trunk ever is. If you find any bugs with 1.0-rc1, please report them to http://lx.junxie.mine.nu/topics?b=1337

This release of LX contains a new class to work with: LXML_Parser. Based on PHP's built-in xml_parser() functions, this provides a PHP5 OOP method to use it. Several LUElinks-dependent functionality has been removed. Many files have been cleaned up considerably, as well as many queries. The path to full database portability is a tedious one, but we're getting there. Themes have been updated to work in KHTML correctly, and the Plain theme has been cleaned up a bunch. Also, the LxDbo classes have been used (experimentally) in the topic search as a PoC.

LX 0.9.8, the first developmental release for SF.net in quite some time, has been officially released. Several things have been updated, and if you haven't kept up with the Trunk releases.

LxDbo 1.0 has also been released. LxDbo is a PHP5 object-oriented approach to abstractifying SQL queries. Lean and potentially useful, the LxDbo object will be implemented into the main LX code as time goes on.

Brand new snapshot/tag of the trunk; a fresh new 0.9.x re-branch. Some pages have been converted to usage of ADOdb Lite already, but that is still a planned thing for 1.1.x. Several things have been updated since 0.9.0, but the database structure is still the same. Still quite unfriendly to those who don't know PHP, but it includes some new checks to make sure you're compatible.

The first real tag of the 0.9.x branch, this is mostly functional. Please remember that it is still an alpha-quality release and may not work as fully intended. Database structure is included along with a basic setup guide. LX 0.9.x is a considerable leap from the original LL source, and it is finally reaching the 1.0.x branch sometime next month if all goes well.
