Hi luciol,
We need to write an I/O server driver application in java
to communicate to Ishida-check weighers. The protocol
is a master/slave type, similar to Modbus, ie. we send a
query and the check-weigher replies back with the
response.
This java I/O server communicates with a JavaServer
Page (JSP) based Web application using socket
communications, since both applications run on the
same machine. The JSP Web app works has been
completed by me, and now I have to start writing the
java I/O server.
If possible, I would like to receive the Modbus java
application developed by you. I will used it as an
example to start writing the I/O server to Ishida check-
weighers.
Could you please send me the modbus application?
I have downloaded both luciol and DNP3 zip files.
From my understanding the luciol zip file contains only
the classes which shall be used to whichever application
protocol we want to implement. Am I correct?
As for the DNP3 master, I could not run the application.
I have unzipped it to c:\basket\DNP3Master but can't get
it running on my machine which has J2SE V1.4.0.
Could you please provide us with instructions of how to
get the DNP3Master running?
For your information, we've attached a copy of the
functional specification in Microsoft Word97 file format.
