Hello All, Can someone give a how to, if it is possible ,to get an actual dummy display working in the chroot using the xserver-xorg-dummy-video package on Debian or any distro for that matter. Problem: Teamviewer now, simply will not work running it from a thin client ( due to no display being found). TV did work up until about version 10,but goes without saying I can't connect to any remote computers for maintenence due to the antiquated version of 10/version mismatch. Also I'd like to be able to run openshot in the chroot, and it will not work either due to 'display could not be found' error. X2Go will not make this work either due to no display available. Have tried setting up teamveiwer in chroot and give up, after finding several threads stating that the TV daemon will simply not run in a chrooted envionment. Thank You in advance. |
