Hey All, I had a question and this is kind of an intricate problem. So I have a server setup with LTSP running Ubuntu 10.04, and when I run the freenx client from my mac it connects as a session just like it should. I had to delete the DHCP server from the LTSP server because I am running DHCP on my Server 2008 box. I also have FOG (for those who don't know it is the replacement Ghost and I couldn't live without it) and currently it is set so that the PXE boot goes to the FOG server so PXE-booting the thin clients to the LTSP Server is out of the question. So my question is: Is there a way to use either something like TS-O-Matic or a Thinstation package loaded onto the thin clients that will boot into the LTSP server via either nx, or some sort of RDP? I have been searching for too long now and need to get some help in this matter. If it can't be done, then it can't, but if it can I want to figure out how to do it. Thanks for your time. |
