I would like to load the ide-disk.o & ide-cd.o modules, but I can only
ide-disk.ko & ide-cd.ko
In the lts.conf file
you specify which module to load,
MODULE_1 = ide-disk.o
MODULE_2 = ide-cd.o
I really get weird errors, can anybody please explain the ko extension.
Must you convert it or copy it to .o

Don't put the '.o' extention there.
ALSO, it is 'MODULE_01', not 'MODULE_1'.

The 2.6 kernels use '.ko', where the 2.4 kernels used '.o'. It
shouldn't make any difference to you.
I really recommend that you stick with a 2.4.26 kernel for whatever you
are doing. the 2.6.9 kernel still has some issues in ltsp.
I'm working on a 2.6.13 kernel, which will likely be the next official
LTSP kernel. Don't expect that for several weeks yet.
