Thank you! Maybe I'll deal with that in a few month :-)
By the way:
The major problem for me is actually redircting the sound
from server to terminal. I screwed up both machines with
huge amounts of different sound utilities. All I got was
KDE2 (or was it GNOME?) sounds from their native
soundsystem, or MP3s via plugin and correspondig
soundserver on the terminal.
Isn't there a simpler solution? Like having *all* the
output redirected by some more low-level tools?
As I'm about to get a fiberoptical network in here,
bandwidth is not a problem ;-)
TIA,
jez

I started working on the Installscripts for SuSE 7.3 and 8.0
(beta). They will be released in a few days.
But you can use the Quick Install Guide and do the
configuration without the ltsp_initialize.
If you have questions concerning the SuSE Distros, ask me.
Cheers,
Christoph

This request is outdated ... I just added support for SuSE
8.1 ;-)
