#2 Can't open a file

Hi,

I installed version 0.93 on my Win2K professional
machine. I extracted the files to my desktop. The GUI
opens fine. I tried to download data for "spy.n" (S&P
depository receipts, NYSE). The app appears to
download, but there are no files for the stocks I
request. The name of the stock I requested appeared in
the stock_name file.

I tried to open the ericb.st file, but the app says
"can't open file". The ericb.st file definately has
data in it.

I searched my disk but I couldn't find a file for the
spy.n data anywhere else.

I tried bussthevegan's suggested workaround - no good. I
downloaded the .csv file for my stock. The app say's "Can't
open file" in the comment window in the lower right corner.

Buzz mentions a stock subdirectory, I don't see anything.
