I ran ltpstress on sles9-beta5 and found a strange thing.
The command I used to run ltpstress is:
nohup ./ltpstress.sh -d /tmp/ltpstress.sardata -l /tmp/ltpstress.log -m
1024 -t 49 -S
In /tmp/ltpstress.log, it says that it began at "May 24 02:40:06 2004".
But after /tmp/ltpstress.log is completed, its updated time is "May 24
21:19", which means that the pan command used in ltpstress.sh will stop
after about 20 hours instead of 49 hours.
I use "ps -ef" to see if pan is running but found that it doesn't exist in
system. So it has quitted.
Another evidence is that /tmp/ltpstress.sardata's size is growing while
/tmp/ltpstress.log's is not.
Has anybody encounter this problem before?
