The `genbessel` executable calls the other executables in the /float/bessel directory. These executables, such as `genj0`, create required datafiles used by the test, "float_bessel". I'm not sure why you are having this problem with powerpc, because these tests build and execute on both an s390 and s390x Linux installations.....which, as you know, are not intel-based machines. I'm copying the mailing list with my response, because I believe we have other users cross-compiling for powerpc who may be able to help more. - Robbie Robert V. The target is a powerpc. For that we set the CC statement in the top Makefile. (ltp-20030206) In testcases/kernel/math/float bessel exp_log iperb power trigo we get a compile error. 1-5: The behavior is, that after bessel compile is done make calls the executable, here ./genbessel. The line is the Makefile (bessel/Makefile). If we do a crosscompile we get errors, because our target is a powerpc. If we do a make, genbessel (ppc exec) want to run an intel !!. Thats not good. Is there a need to call these executables after a make (anyway, if intel or powerpc.) ? ->I comment these lines and get no compile errors. How do you think about?
