I¹m not getting function counts when running lcov. I get line counts and
looks like it does identify functions, but no count info. Is there any known
patch for bsd? I suspect that this works on linux with ³hammer² mode, which
I don¹t use and the ³magic² number for the .bbg file does not match if I try

I do see this error, but does not seem related since functions are found

This is a rather old version of gcc - newer versions are better
supported by lcov so if you have a chance to upgrade gcc, that would be
a workaround. In the meantime, please send me one of the .bb files so I
can have a look at what's causing the warning, assuming that's related
to lcov not finding any function coverage data.
